it's about to start...

Tomorrow a realtor is coming to our home. Our home is beautiful, big and full of memories! Why in the world are we choosing to move? We love our neighbors and everything about our home and yard. But, we have had a desire for many years to fix up a small home. Not a total gut or a fast flip. But buy something small, that needs some work and make it adorable and our own.  Basically we want the house you see in a cute neighborhood and think..."Well thats the ugliest house around here.that would be sk cute wirh a little work!"

We want to have a smaller mortgage payment, not because we have to, but because we should. We want to be happier with less. plus we are becoming DIY dorks and could not be more excited about learning all the things along the way. It's going to be hard work and balancing having a life with what we want to do may prove to be a challenge. Did I mention we have an adorable, giggly, 9 month old that we can't get enough of!? But here we go....Ideally we would be in our smaller home in a couple months!!
